The classification of coronavirus infection as a work accident has raised some concerns about the possibility of an enlargement of the employer’s civil and criminal liability. Instead the norm confirms the jurisprudence’s interpretation of the concept of work accident, and can be used to read correctly, in harmony with the following interventions of the legislator, the article 2087 of the italian civil code.
